Senior Master Sergeant Peter F. Bondi of the United States Air Force and resident of Jobstown, N.J., age 50 years, passed away Aug. 13, 2014 at home with his family by his side.

Peter was a native of the Bronx, N.Y., a graduate of Cardinal Hayes High School and was also a graduate of the Community College of the Air Force. He was a career senior master sergeant joining the U.S. Air Force in 1990 and was active duty until his death. He served during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. He was a former military training instructor in the Air Force.

Peter was a member of the McGuire Catholic Chapel and the Knights of Columbus Council # 10994 where he was past Grand Knight. He also was a member and past President of the Top III.

He was the beloved husband of Marie A. (Price); dear father of Amber Grinling and Brittany Bondi, both at home; grandfather of Matthew Grinling; beloved son of Margaret Bondi of Pleasant Valley, N.Y.; and also survived by five siblings and their families.

Relatives and friends of Peter's family are invited to his viewing and visitation 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Friday morning, Aug. 15, at the McGuire Catholic Chapel, 2503 East Arnold Ave., JB MDL, NJ, 08641 where his funeral Mass will be held at noon.

Cremation will be private.
