Pfc. Miguel A. Marcial III of Secaucus, N.J., attended Secaucus High School through 11th grade before transferring to the New Jersey National Guard Challenge Youth Program at Fort Dix. After earning his high school diploma in 2005, he enlisted in the Marines in February 2006. He was an only son, outgoing and funny with a great personality. His elders described him as a really nice young man, a pleasant, personable kid who was popular with the girls. He was 19.
