Hometown: Columbus, NJ. Died: November 9, 2021 Age: 41. Unit: NJ Army National Guard. Juan Fajardo, a New Jersey State Police sergeant and an active member of the NJ Army National Guard died on Tuesday, November 9th, 2021.
Sergeant Fajardo served with the New Jersey State Police for more than 16 years and was a member of the 139th State Police Class. He was also a distinguished member of the N.J. Army National Guard who was honorably discharged in 2003 but returned to serve again in 2019 and was on Title 10 Orders (Federal level active duty) at the time of his accident.. Sergeant Fajardo is survived by his wife, Adriana; and their three children, Nico, Ava, and Cristian. Juan lived his life full of adventure, laughter, and was always challenging himself to learn new things. He enjoyed flying airplanes, riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing, camping, and shooting. He loved coaching his children’s sports and was known to many as Coach Juan. Most of all, he was a devoted husband and father who enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his family, whether traveling in an RV adventure or simply sitting back and enjoying each other’s company, he was always present in the moment and made his family feel loved and protected. |
